Choose Southern Indiana's Healthcare and Education Program offers $5,000 to recent college graduates (within 6 months) from within Indiana or experienced workers from out-of-state that move to and gain employment within the Radius Indiana region in the fields of Healthcare and Education.  Learn more about this program below to see if you qualify!

This program requires interested individuals to secure a position at one of our regional hospitals, clinics, health practices, or schools before they are eligible to receive the $5,000 moving incentive.

Program Requirements*

  • For experienced workers, you must currently live outside the state of Indiana

​

  • For recent college graduates, you must have attended and graduated from a college or university within Indiana in the past 6 months.

​

  • Accept a job offer with a minimum income of $20/hour and a minimum of 24 hours/week.

​

  • Are hired by an employer in any of the Radius counties (Crawford, Daviess, Dubois, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Orange, or Washington)

​

  • Must be willing to stay and work in the Radius region for at least two years.

​

  • Once hired, confirm proof of employment and residency with the program application.
